Crescents
1/2 lb butter
1/4 cup confectioners
sugar
1/8 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla
2 1/4 cup sifted flour
1 cup chopped pecans
Combine butter with
confectioners sugar. Cream well. Add salt, vanilla and flour; mix well and add
pecans. Form into crescent-shaped rolls about 1 1/2 inches long. Bake on
ungreased cookie sheet at 300° fir 45-50 minutes or until delicately browned.
While hot, roll in more confectioners sugar.
