The Other Side of the Story
Tampa, FL, September 7, 2010 - As a way of providing some more
pertinent information to his congregation, Fr. Andrew Heyes of St.
Clement Episcopal Church in Tampa will preach this Sunday against the
clueless pastor in Gainesville who is planning the Koran burning day on
September 11th reportedly “in remembrance of the fallen victims of
9/11 and to stand against the evil of Islam.”
Fr. Heyes came to St. Clement’s from the town of Oldham in the United
Kingdom. He was vicar of a parish in the heart of a Muslim community.
“I’ll be relating my own experience of Islam and the consequences I
believe the UK faces because of its inaction towards integrating
Muslims,” says Fr. Andrew. “I’ll also be explaining why the
Gainesville "pastor’s" actions are not Christian.”
St. Clement’s worship schedule is 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on Sundays.
All are welcome.
St. Clement Episcopal Church is located in the Forest Hills section of

On
September 19th at 3:00 pm, the Sanctuary Choir of St. Clement’s
Episcopal Church located in the
Forest Hills
area will feature the work of Alfred V. Fedak “The Gift of Music.” in
concert. Following the concert will be an Afternoon Tea hosted by
the Episcopal Church Women. The suggested donation of $10 will help
support the costs of a commissioned work to be performed early December in
celebration of Advent.
For
this concert, the featured composition is in 3 sections: At the Still
Point of the Universe, Music Never Dies and Proverbs. The composer
builds on the theme “dances with joy” to the pinnacle of the
proverbial saying, “If you can talk, you can sing, if you can walk, you
can dance.” The composition begins with an ethereal mood, draws
your soul to meditate and concludes with a gospel style. The
composer captures the spirit of music and delivers that message through
melodies, harmonic repetitive patterns and a rhythmic dance. There
are five other compositions whose themes are centered on praise and song.
